What are your thoughts on medicinal marijuana use? Posted: 10 Jul 2010 06:06 PM PDT I work in the medical field. I have seen many patients who admit to using marijuana for pain management, loss of appetite, glaucoma, anxiety and migrane headaches. Many practices will dismiss the patient for drug use. All have said they would rather use marijuana, than a synthetic drug that can cause major side effects. On the other hand, it is an illegal substance. It has been considered a “gateway drug”. Should it be legalized? Should the patient have a right to decide if he/she can use marijuana for medicinal purposes? What are your thoughts?

i’m possibly addicted to synthetic marijuana? Posted: 10 Jul 2010 10:05 AM PDT I don’t have any access to actual marijuana and no healthcare or the funds to get anti-depressants, and i don’t think alcohol helps depression (does the opposite) so i use K2/Spice. Been using it often for at least a month now. Do you think there would be any serious reprocussions to it? It makes my heart beat faster and gives me cotton-mouth, other than that i don’t see any ill effects. Hallucinations if used too much, but everything is bad in large sums. as for positive effects, it gives me euphoria and works well as an anti-depressant. i did learn about it. all it is–is a few normal herbs and flowers sprayed with synthetic cannabinoids. (synthetic thc created in a lab)
